Dr. Munira Shapurwala, M.D. (Respiratory Medicine), is a dedicated pulmonologist specializing in Interventional Pulmonology. She completed her MBBS from Terna Medical College, Mumbai and earned her MD from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore, where she secured 2nd rank in the University. Alongside her academics, she achieved distinction in the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) and conducted research on the QSOFA score as a predictor of mortality in respiratory infections.
Her professional journey includes serving as a Senior Resident at MGM Medical College & Hospital, Indore, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex respiratory conditions, performing advanced diagnostics, and supervising interventional procedures. She also contributed to medical education as an Internship Trainer at Terna Medical College, Mumbai, mentoring young doctors and improving training standards.
